The Dairy is new to Silvermere’s accommodation options. Originally the
residence attached to the local dairy farm, the weatherboard house was constructed
in 1915.
Apple and plum trees in the garden date
from that period and the surrounding landscape
is characterised by pretty weatherboard cottages, old trees and gardens.
"Our accommodation in Wentworth Falls is a gorgeous little cottage called The Dairy. A fragrant English country garden greets us, complete with daffodils, snow drops and jonquils and we’re sold on the place before we even walk through the front door".
Deborah Dickson Smith at Little Nomads
‘Here is where The Dairy really shines. It's as if the owners moved in for a month before they opened it to guests and made a list of everything that would make the cottage more liveable. The attention to detail goes above and beyond the basics: quality cotton sheets, heavy drapes to ward off the chill, underfloor heating in the bathroom, a combustion fireplace with good hardwood and a backyard barbecue big enough to roast a suckling pig’.
The Dairy is located on the south side of Wentworth falls - a short walk to the World heritage National Park, Conservation Hut, Wentworth Falls and popular walking tracks such as the National Pass.
The Dairy provides accommodation for families and groups of up to 6 adults.
Accommodation comprises three bedrooms (one with a private veranda), one
spa bathroom, additional toilet, luxury kitchen, dining room, lounge with
open fire, and an extensive outdoor deck and bbq facility.
Linen is available and the cottage is ‘made ready’ for those arriving late.
